Effective September 1, 2024, MOTI will be instituting a $5.00 per visit service fee for all patients. We have explored an endless multitude of other avenues for us to keep up with the ever-increasing operating costs for MOTI, but in order to keep pace with inflation rates as well as continue to take care of and support our staff, we have had to implement this service fee.
This fee allows us to continue providing access to the following services and amenities, which are premium in outpatient physical therapy service and which play a critical role in our patients’ progress with physical therapy (also, all of which fall outside of “covered services” as defined by insurance plans):
- Phone, email, and text communications with MOTI staff (including your Doctor of Physical Therapy) outside of your appointment time
- Remote access to your patient portal containing your past and future appointments, payment method(s), payment history, and medical records
- Remote access to your individualized online home exercise plan
- Updates to your online exercise plan by your Doctor of Physical Therapy throughout your plan of care
- Communication with your referring physician(s) from your Doctor of Physical Therapy and other MOTI staff
- Access to our MOTI Billing team to help with health insurance questions – including visit cost breakdown, patient payments, statement questions, visit limits, authorization help, and communicating with your insurance on your behalf when required.
- Access to MOTI patient parking on a first come, first serve basis
For MOTI self-pay patients, this fee is rolled into the current fee structure, and no separate facility service charge will appear on your invoices.

Insurance
MOTI Physiotherapy is a contracted, preferred provider for many PPO insurances. If you have questions about your insurance eligibility or benefits, we recommend verifying coverage with your insurance provider. If you have a high deductible, do not have insurance, or if you have exceeded your policy’s allowed number of Physical Therapy visits, we offer affordable cash rates.
* Your insurance co-pay will be collected at the beginning of each session.
